Please join us in building a diverse, inclusive, and supportive lab environment.
Students from historically underrepresented groups in STEM fields are encouraged to apply. If interested, please read our Lab Code of Conduct.
Prospective Graduate Students:
At this time, only students with partial support (either fellowship support or grant support for their research) will be considered for Fall 2026. I am happy to work with prospective students on developing and writing fellowship applications.
Prospective graduate students at CSU have the option of which graduate program they would like to join. Prospective graduate students may either apply to the Biology Graduate Program or the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology (GDPE). You may wait to officially apply until after we’ve contacted you to let you know you are a preferred candidate.
Prospective Post-docs:
I am always looking for post-docs to apply to work within the lab. When I have funding available, these positions are usually advertised on ECOLOG or ecophys-jobs.org. I am also very happy to help work with prospective postdocs on developing and writing post-doctoral fellowship applications.
Prospective Undergraduates:
I typically have several undergraduates working in the lab each semester. Often undergraduates will work directly with a graduate student and/or postdoctoral fellows.
If interested in at any level, please contact Dr. Cory Williams at cory.williams(at)colostate.edu and include:
1) a brief description of your research interests and experiences, 2) a current CV/resume and 3) unofficial transcripts.
